The year 2024 reinforced the integration of sustainability into our operations. On this journey, we have aligned our priorities with the Sustainable Development Goals from the United Nations, expanding the scope of our initiatives and consolidating the positive impact on our operations, our business, and our involvement in the community.
The integration of ESG issues into the Bank’s strategy took a participatory and transparent approach based on four stages.
There is a correlation between the material themes and various SDGs. However, the Stakeholder consultation process enabled five priority SGDs to be identified.
The operational implementation of the SDGs is guided by three strategic dimensions.
ATLANTICO has been implementing a series of actions that reinforce its commitment to sustainability and the full integration of ESG principles into its strategy.
ATLANTICO’s ambition goes beyond reducing its environmental impacts. The Bank seeks to be an agent of awareness and transformation, fostering an organisational culture that values efficiency in the use of energy and water, responsible waste management and the integration of environmental principles into all dimensions of the business.
ATLANTICO recognises its Talents as its main asset. Excellence, a value-driven attitude and the ability to generate a positive impact on communities are attributes that emerge directly from the skills and involvement of its Employees.
The Governance model ensures a balance between effective management, rigorous supervision and the integration of environmental, social and governance factors into decision-making. Based on its purpose of “Transforming Lives”, the Bank believes that financial strength is fundamental to supporting social investment in communities.
In ATLANTICO´s mission, Social Transformation takes centre stage, reflecting the Bank´s commitment to the sustainable development of communities around it. Thus, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, ATLANTICO has developed various iniciatives and established strategic partnerships.
